Everything you wanted to know about Experimentation

My son brought this home from West Point back in 2001 and I was very impressed...having worked with some topical areas in industry. I use this book as a reference. Sections on hypothesis testing, and design of experiments is a must for anyone working with it. Answers to exercises should be accessible on web.

I found this book to be excellent introduction to design of experimental measurements and the treatment of uncertainties in those measurements. The only drawback is that the author limits the discussion of uncertainties to data with a Gaussian distribution of errors. In many experiments the Poisson distribution is more applicable and it should be discussed in combination with the Gaussian distribution (i.e., the conditions when one is more appropriate than the other).

This book had very poor print quality. All the characters on the inside are pixellated. Not recommended.
